Looking for any ideas / thoughts about on-going power steering leaks and different approaches to fixing or up-grading system to a more robust system / components! Can't seem to really get rid of leaks in the power steering system.

My 81 has on-going oil pan leak, since had valve cam replaced around 50K miles; anyone with good results on how to cure pan leaks once factory installation has been distrubed? Looking for a very good, long life pan gaskets or mfgr of high quality engine gaskets.

My 81 volt meter indicates alternator output voltage to be on the high side of 14 volts. I am thinking this may be the root cause responsible for the dim alternator warning light. Anyone have any information on alternator specifications, especially regarding acceptable output voltage range?
