Yeah, I love the looks of the C2 gen, but the tech would be hard to live with. A good resto mod with modern chassis, engine, and electronics is the ticket IMO. I have a SSB 2011 Z06 with Z07, 3LZ, and carbon roof, side skirts, and front diffuser options. Love it. :thumb

It was "Sting Ray" from 63-67, and "Stingray" from 69-76. Just curious which generation (C2 or C3) are you talking about? :)

C6z/z07 I already voted by purchasing a used '11 Z07, 3LZ with carbon package, 14K miles at $65K. It looks better, performs much better (stomp a C7 Z51 anywhere), equivalent interior, with iconic motor and tail lights. We’ll see what the C7 Z07/LT4/L88 or whatever does if and when it shows up...

That doesn't help those of us who lost an engine with the old system. They should have done more through testing before proclaiming it "race track ready".

Hope this system works better than the '06-'08 LS7 system. Oil starvation issue in prolonged left hand turns has caused engine damage and several failures. :eyerole

Have the roof checked, sounds like it could be delamination.

I had the same gripe, but fixed it by replacing the stock C6 clutch "assist" spring with a C5 spring. It feels about the same as my FRC now!

Your VIN is way after mine (104251), so that explains it somewhat. Have a Merry XMAS and Year New Year in your C6 too!!

Congratulations and you're welcome:upthumbs ! My radio part number is not the one listed in the bulletin, so I'm SOL unless I can find a way to get the radio replaced. Did you get the part number of your radio when they installed the update, or how about a VIN or delivery/build number. Again...

My VIN is also 104XXX, delivery in Aug 04, but will not play MP3s burned as Data disc off of RecordNow s/w on my computer.

What is your VIN and build/delivery date? How did you burn the CD, data or music?

It plays with Windows Media player and Real Player on my computer. How do you determine or change the file system? My car was built in 8/04, VIN 104251, is that too early?

Just had the new update installed in my NAV and it DOES NOT play MP3s. CD-R was burnt as a data disc with MP3 files, but unit shows "no disc" with it inserted. I have the early NAV unit.

Can I install a 03 Z06 H pipe onto 2000 exhaust manifolds?
