    Header Gasket Replacement Smoke

I just changed one of the header gaskets which was leaking. For the first 30 seconds after startup it smoked around the gasket. I ran it for about 15 min and it hasn't smoked since. It also smelled like metal. Is this normal after a gasket replacement? Does the gasket had to set?

    Clutch Problem?

I just went for another drive. For the first 20min it was fine, after that it happened a few times. It happens only when the clutch is pushed down.

Really? So it wouldn't do it all the time? It was replaced 2 years ago by the dealer.

    Clutch Problem?

Coming home today I got a weird grinding sound when I would push the clutch in to change gears. The shifter would also shake a bit. The noise would go away as soon as I let the clutch out. I got home and went through every gear on the driveway a few times. It only did it 3 times. I can shift...

    90 won't start just clicks!

I thought the relay could be bad but I tried another one and same thing. At first I thought I had a short of ground, but then wouldn't my battery drain overnight? My battery is still fully charged.

    90 won't start just clicks!

To get right to the point, my car won't start. All the starter does is click a few times. I took the starter out to get tested and it's fine. I have 12 volts at my starter and battery. I tried another battery and starter for the heck of it but nothing. I don't have any codes and all fuses are...

    Tach Issue

Like the majority of you with a 90 my tach doesn't work. It reads alot higher then it actually is. My oil pressure guage also doesnt work. So I bought a cluster from a member to swap out thinking it would fix my problem but it didn't. The weird thing is that on the new cluster my tach doesnt...

    New Heads

Well imo you won't need a 58mm throttle body or 30# injectors.

    Tacho Overeading!!

Mine is the same way. I scan my 90 with Datamaster and the tach is about half off. My tach will say 6k and Datamaster will only show about 2500. I'm pretty sure my cluster is shot.

First Datamaster scan - Help Please!

I logged another drive tonight with Datamaster and it seems my BLM's are getting better. It still runs very rich at idle though. Also it threw an EGR code for some reason. If anyone has time and would like to compate both of my runs I will post the new one. Thanks.

First Datamaster scan - Help Please!

My 90 uses MAP. I've been reading up on the VE tables and have edited some of them. I guess I'm just looking for someone elses opinion to make sure I'm doing it correctly. I've never done anything like this before so I'm pretty nervous. Thanks for your help!

Help!!Smoke - steam coming into car!!

I'm not sure what you mean by bonnet, but the 2 hoses are under the coolant reservoir.

Help!!Smoke - steam coming into car!!

The 2 heater hoses are under the hood and under the coolant reservoir. It is easier to bypass the heater core but then you wouldn't have any heat obviously.

Help!!Smoke - steam coming into car!!

You can bypass the heater core by connecting the 2 heater hoses together. I replaced my heater core last year. It wasnt hard to do, just very frustrating and time consuming. The heater core is only about $50, but if you took it to a garage the labour will kill you.
