Review: C4 Corvette Trivia-VIN stamped on right side front lift off roof panel frame (Little known secret)

Possible Typo?? Your title says "stamped on right side front lift off roof panel frame" but the text refers to " the left front lift off roof panel frame." Or maybe I read it wrong. :)

    Motor Suddenly Dies

Three times my car has suddenly died while driving in town. Two of the times it was a rainy day. I didn’t hit any puddles of water. First two times the motor started again with no problem and ran normal. The third time it didn’t want to start. Three hours later it fired right up and ran normally...

    Coupe Water After Washing

Here's a tip when your ready for a final rinse before drying. Turn off the water, remove the nozzle and then turn on the water about half way - low. Start at the top and go over the entire car allowing the low pressure water to form a "sheet" of water. As the water drains, it "grabs" (for want...

Sniped on manuals on Ebay. :-(

Hey, I got sniped last night on a gas tank for my motorcycle. Had that sucker half in the bag and about 6 seconds before the auction ended, out bid. Was I pi$$ed? Yea. Should I have bid more? Yea. EOS

High bidder wins no matter when you bid - when it starts or seconds before it ends. He who has the most $$$ is what it's all about. That's why it's called an "Auction."

Any good recommendations on a car cover

I don't think you would want a waterproof car cover, as it would tend to trap condensation inside the cover. A cover that breathes is the best.

    Now that's a switch

Are you referring to the switch located at the left front of the seat? If so, remove the bottom cushion to give access to the switch. Get some contact cleaner from Radio Shack and spray the switch while working it back and forth. Hopefully, it'll work again. Worked for me on both my seats.

    better front spoiler

Maybe I missed the post but does anyone have the Prowler installed and if so, do you like it? Any install problems? Been thinking about ordering one.

    Wette Vette

I used to live south of San Francisco, (So. SF). I had a new Chevy pickup. The paint went bad in 6 months. The factory said it was due to the corrosive atmosphere of the Bay Area and wouldn't repaint it under warranty. Needless to say, I was extremely PO'ed.

    92 LT-1 starter motor

I've always had good luck at Sears Automotive for checking alternator & battery and installing a new batery.

Do you REALLY want an aftermarket stereo?

I had my Bose CD/Cassette rebuilt by Dr. Don. Just installed it and it works great. Cost was $130.00 plus $15.00 return shipping. I also had him put on a new (correct for a 92) faceplate and buttons which cost an additional $70.00. The unit now looks new and plays like new. I maintain the...
