    Driver Door Latch

I bent the Stop out of the way to allow further travel. Have not had a problem since.

Question: Probably kind of weird - sorry

No need to go to a lawyer or anyone else, if your uncle signs the title over to you at the Title office and states it is a gift nothing else needs to be done. As to the will, he no longer has the car and it is no longer an issue since he is the one that signed it over. I would just proceed...

Question: Probably kind of weird - sorry

In Ohio all you have to do is both go to the title office he signs over the title at zero purchase price and states it is a gift and there will not be any sales tax other than a title transfer fee.

    Driver Door Latch

I had the same problem; I resolved it by taking out the the latch mechanism from the door and modifying the stop. The outside pushbutton would open the door, the inside needed to travel further but couldn't because it hit the stop before it would open the door. By eliminating the stop it...

    Small Block Clutch parts

The catalogs list two different part numbers for the Clutch Pedal Push Rod and the Clutch Cross Shaft for the mid year small block. One is for years 63/65 and the other is for years 66/67. Can someone tell me what the difference is for each part; is it length of the Rod or different angles for...

Tremec TKO 600 vs. Keisler RS 600

I have listened to all of you and have gone to various GM car sites to gather as much information as possible before I made my decision yesterday. Every site I went to mentioned the difficulty of installing the TKO due to tunnel clearance, plus the 2nd and 3rd shifts. I ordered a Keisler RS...

Tremec TKO 600 vs. Keisler RS 600

I am ready to order either the Tremec TKO 600 or the Keisler RS 600. The problem I have is deciding between the two. Tremec is available for immediate shipment but approximately $400 more, Keisler has an approximate waiting period of 6 months before shipment. I will be putting up my car for the...

    Transmission Advice

My concern with the Keisler RS400 or 500 is first gear 3.37, I believe it will be like a granny gear and will not be usable.

    Transmission Advice

Both the TKO 500 and 600 are 5 speeds, I did not have them quote 6 speeds.

    Transmission Advice

Hurst is also offering their TKO 600 in either the .64 or .82 for the same price, which one would be better? I believe the .64 would provide lower cruising RPM.

    Transmission Advice

I am considering a transmission upgrade from my current four speed to either a 5 or 6 speed. My 66 has the original 327 engine 300 hp build up to approximately 350 hp. I am running 4.11 rear gears. Keisler is recommending their RS 400 transmission, Hurst Driveline is recommending their TKO 600...

    Driver Door Latch

I have a 1966 coupe that has issues with the Door Latch Release. The door opens fine with the outside latch release but I have difficulty with the inside Door Latch Release; I pull back as hard as I can and sometimes the Latch will not release. I removed the interior Door Panel looking for a...

    Part time turn signal

You need to replace the Hazard Flasher Switch located in the dash. I had the same problem and that resolved the problem.
