Speedometer numbers fading away My speedometer numbers are fading away from left to right. The center and right clusters are still very clear and readable. Is this similar to your problem and fixable by pulling the cluster?

Planning a tune up of "Ruby". She developed a skip today and I am not sure when last done. Bought her used but running good. Any suggestions on brands of plug wires, plugs, etc. Got to get back to the Dragon outside Robbinsville,NC

Can anyone suggest types of plugs, wires, cap and rotor best used for my tune-up on my 1985 116,000 miles. Currently using Autolite plugs gapped at .045.

With my '85, I pull back on knob once in park to secure position; then key gives me no trouble.

Went for ride Sunday and traffic stopped on interstate due to wreck ahead. My '85 normally reads 195-199 degrees 70 mph. At idle for extended time reached 232 degrees. Any thoughts. After shutting down waiting for traffic to start, ride back uneventful and temp normal. Any suggestions or is this...
