Don't know about the color, I left mine gray as it came. I did not use gasket glue...no leaks...no problems on my 1967 327/350. :upthumbs

    Hagerty...Who Knew...?????

Are you sure it is an AGREED value policy rather than a stated value? Did you have to submit an appraisal? What restrictions on driving does State Farm have? I'm currently looking to change my policies...this info would help. Thanks. ;help

    Headlight motor switch

Thanks for all the suggestions. I crimped a spade connector to the wire end and formed it to fit on the switch post. Fits tighter than the other two and works very well.

    Tech Center Question

Fantastic idea. I've kept printed copies of various how to's as they appear here and in the other forum in a file arranged by section: interior, electrical, exhaust, body, etc. Has been very useful but an online version would be better.

    Headlight motor switch

The small round connector at the end of the green wire to the pin on the switch broke off. Any suggestions on fabricating a new connector to the switch pin? Switch and motors work fine when I touch the raw green wire to the pin on the switch.

    Spark Plug Shields 67 SB

I'd like to eliminate the RF shields (wing nut shields) and boomerangs and re-route the wires "on top",...hence the concern about heat problems. Thanks.

    Spark Plug Shields 67 SB

Any suggestions or photos from those of you who are not using spark plug shields? What kind of separators or looms will keep wires and plug boots away from the exhaust manifold? Will stock length wires work with looms? Will heat sleeves be necessary?:w

    Ping at Acceleration

I have a very slight pinging under acceleration. To retard the timing, is distributor rotated counter clockwise or clockwise? 67 SB 327/350.

    Curious...explain fan clutch operation

John Z...Thanks so much for your input, again. Getting a braver wrench this year so I'll likely be posting a lot here from SE Michigan. Have done a lot of British car wrenching but these Vettes....:beer If you don't mind, see my new post on valve cover gaskets. Thanks.

    Curious...explain fan clutch operation

Replaced my water pump so I decided to replace the fan clutch as well. The clutch that came with the car has a flat face toward the radiator with no coiled spring visible. It was almost frozen solid...couldn't turn the shaft once off the car and it was extremenly hard to manually turn when it...

    Carb Replacement?? '66 327 350HP

I bought a Holley for my 67 327/350 from Jeg's two years ago. It's the model prescribed for a 66 but it performs great...only problem was that I had to exchange two carbs before I got one that didn't geyser gas everywhere. Jeg's was great and took care of all the excess shipping...even...
