I have been following this thread since the beginning. I also have the St. Catherines 327 ci block Stamped 0100397 with the original heads in a 1971 Monte Carlo. It has been rebuilt but the block has not been decked. I also have been fighting the valve cover leaks and the intake has...
How thirsty?
Insure that several items are done. Correct air pressure for tires, engine is tuned for maximum performance and try to keep the gas pedal off the floor. Drive with fuel economy in mind and enjoy your Corvette.

RPO codes
Open the glove box located on the console. There is a sticker with the RPO codes. Look through the codes which are in alphabetical order. Will be RPO Z51 or Z52.
As far as shocks the kyb shocks are a good choice for most driving conditions. For the Z52 and Z51 suspension KYB Gas...

Paint code
If you open the console storage box cover there should be a sticker with rpo codes. The paint code should be on the lower left or right side. You can also look in the Tech center drop down menu for more info on your particular vette;)
I believe 40 to 47lbs. of fuel pressure required before start up. The pressure should drop about 3-10 lbs when idling . My experience using stock pressure regulator. Somebody with an FSM can fill you in with fine tuning.

Replace Injectors
I have been following this thread and called John FIC. Long story short I purchased a set of yellow 22 lb. Bosch 3 injectors. He explained these are the best choice for my 1988 Vette. I would highly recommend FIC to anyone who is interested.

Junk's clock
What a clock. Is that a tire on a rim? :thumb
Paul,
Although mine is TPI it was all I could afford at the time. The LT1 was my first choice. As long as there are no mechanical or electrical surprises I have found the TPI to be reliable. I don't care about the 4800 rpm limit. I...
Obsessed
Paul,
It is great not to be the only one. I love the C-4 styling. Our weather has been mild. I will be out running errands again:cool. We do get a mix of winter. There will be days when the vette will be tucked away. Maybe a sub-forum for our obsession can be created. You could be...

I have been purchasing parts off Ebay under Corvette parts or tpi.
