c5vsc6 traded my 01 coupe for an 07 coupe both automatics, c5 had ride control, c6 has z51. To me the 07 is much tighter and wind noise is nonexistent, ride is firm but never harsh, and power feels similar to c5 probably because of c6's tall gearing ...c6 needs aftermarket exhaust as it is too...

can't really tell, I am seeing more conversions like this here in AZ lately, there were two c5/58 style cars at the latest get together in Scottsdale, Lots of money for nostalgia though!

I know what you mean, when I first saw it I was kinda cool to it but once I got it home and cleaned it up in the sunlight I was sold. It has the magnesium wheels also which really stand out with the Green. Jeff.

look on ebay under corvette parts. I bought a replacement unit from a guy there for 100.00 and it was easy to install and works great.

fyi I know of a tire shop in carlsbad, calif. that has a couple sets of brand new magnesium wheels. He wants about a grand for them but you might be able to talk him down. Let me know and I will get you his #.

Hello all, I have been experiencing a distinct rubber smell with the a/c on. Dealer replaced serp belt but not a/c belt. Have checked all areas and find no reason this is happening. Had some initial belt smell from new belt but that is gone now, just a/c operation causing this. A/C blows cold...
