    I'm with you. If you validate the numbers with the manual method, you will find that the calculated numbers are a bit optimistic.

    Thanks Jeff. I tend to agree. I just want a little louder than stock under WOT but I don't want to hear it much at cruise. I think I will talk to the folks that make them. Which Magnaflows are you using. How is the resonance at cruise?

    Has anyone used this exhaust on their LT4. If so, I would be interested in reports on interior noise and resonance at cruise. I want the rumble at idle and the wail at WOT but want to be able to hear the stereo at cruise. Yea, I know. I want the best of both worlds.

    The problem I had with the ones I got from Five-O was the length from O-ring to O-ring. The locking clips also did not fit. When I installed them in the rail and put the rail on the intake, they would not seat fully. Bruce tried to tell me they would work but I didn't buy it. If` the clips...

    Did you order them from Five-O? Beware if they are the Ford injectors. They are shorter than the stock Bosch injectors. I didn't like the fit and returned them.

    Jump starting

    Curious as to why trickle charger is not an option. Can't you remove the battery and put it on a bench. Any battery will go dead if not used for 4 months. Better to charge the battery than jump start. Use that as a last resort.

    I had trouble with display going dark with the turn signals on. Resoldering the pins, even though they looked fine, fixed the problem.

    Why not fix the ones you have. Change the leaky seals and gaskets. You can buy a valve cover paint that looks great.

    Did you run the trouble shooting chart in the FSM? It will tell why the code is thrown. Sounds like the MAF itself. You stated that the chart led you nowhere. If you follow it carefully, it will tell you where the problem is.

    What you are describing is called a deep cycle battery. Gel cells are good for that!

    The only power to the MAFS with the ignition off is through the burn off circuit. This heats the wire to clean it. Take it slowly through the chart and it will lead you to the problem.

    What you see is running down the exhaust manifold. It is probably coming from the head.
