I decided for the Chromed ones. Good to learn it is worth the investment. It certainly had to do with a delayed delivery as they are not on inventory.

After some delays I finally got the american racing torq trust II, 17/7 with 4' backspacing.
I mount them with 225/60/17. They fit perfectly although close to the body for the front ones. as my springs are very tight there will be no problem.

it seems we have the same configuration then.
do you beleive 225/60/17 tyres could fit, they are 0.4 inches higher than yours and Michelin has a good tyre in this dimension. I am confident it would fit the rear, but the front fender is so close...
I am planning to get four American Racing wheels, 17x7 probably.
Before ordering I want to make sure they fit.

I have a 502ci inside my 65 , originaly powered by a 396ci.
With such power and torque, I am afraid breaking my transmission down.
I have a 4speed muncie, a 3.08 ratio differential and new spindles from zip.
What would advice the 502ci owners in this forum?
