nfran2, have you figured out the problem with the clutch take up?

Reminds me of a new 74 from the rear/side. I did not like my 74 either.

I must disagree with abc, in all the years I have been driving Corvettes I've always driven manuals, no problems.

Stop and go traffic was the culpret in my case, after purchasing I had the pleasure of a 40 mile commute home. This glazed the clutch and with time it will and did go away.

IMO this is not correct, see the dealer, check you clutch fluid level.

I like the new stalk, its the new typewriter I do not like.

OEM batteries were never the best at what they do. I have replaced many with in the first 12 months. Why just 2 weeks ago I replaced the battery in wifes car and it was 12 months old. Covered under warranty.

I'm waiting anxiously for the UPS guy as I've ordered a VARARAM Snake Charmer intake and changing out to a BB exhaust.... Christmas is early this year! now there you go, perfectly acceptable mods. IMHO :)

Opinions...IMHO leave the car alone when it come to all the gee-gaws added to the outside of this car. It is beautiful just being a Corvette. Mods to the driveline are a different story. And this comming from a Harley guy who can't leave my bike alone. JMO, but you did ask. ;)

I'm with him, the items that you refer to are there to channel air to your radiator. Keep a close eye on the coolent temps. :)

ok boys...the fronts were only half worn I figure I could get another 15,000 miles, but the backs were gone, i drove the rubber right off. I suppose if I drove it at a somewhat normal pace I could have saved some tire... but in the end who really cares? Not me...:lou
