Just an FYI for those who have 93-94 LT1's with the prime pipe tube fitting on the master cylinder reservoir. GM discontinued the cylinder and the reservoir from all my searches. Aftermarket new master cylinder from all the usual suspects comes with the 95-96 reservoir without the prime pipe...
Alright folks where are the new delivery stories, photos, etc?
This is my favor Corvette forum but unfortunately I have had to frequent the CF forum dark side to get my vicarious, low cost, wish I had one, delivery fix for the new owners.
Step up with posts, photos and stories, especially...
OK I know I am not the first one to tackle C4 Bose Amp repairs from the "scratchy, poor sound, squealing, etc." problems. I thought those interested may want a first hand updated report.
Over the weekend I pulled out the rear amps. Total time to remove about 10 minutes each.
Since we are...
I am about 6 years, 60,000 miles down the road from the "water pump, optispark, all three seals in front cover" replacement. Car has run great. Miles are catching up to that repair and deferred maintenance of the fuel system.
Now chasing a slight coolant leakage thought to be water pump bolt...

After lots of reading forum posts and trying to figure it out I'm more confused than ever on options for dual mass flywheel on my 93 LT1, 6 speed. I know I am probably on borrowed time with 125K on this clutch disc (about 60% highway miles), and 178K on the flywheel. No noises or slipping...
Well I drove it work this morning with great brakes but that's where the story ends.
In the beginning....
Hit the brakes going over a paved trench in the road and the pedal went hard. I thought it might have been ABS kicking on since they worked fine until I left an appointment and went to...
I got invited to the "now you see it, now you don't" LCD display. Over past year it's gone out more often and a hit on the dash area brought it back to life less often.
Saturday I bit the bullet and pulled the gauge cluster, not bad, drop the lower dash panels, remove two steering column...
As soon as I cool off I am starting writing letters to anyone who'll listen about this article just posted:mad

The end of Classic Cars?
After midnight last night I heard this dramatic news and have had to rewrite this week’s blog at extremely short notice. However, this seemed so...
Under the heading of just when you think you've seen it all....
Coming home from work a couple of weeks ago via the parkway I was enjoying the 72 before cold weather. Engine starts stumbling, doesn't respond well to gas pedal but clears up. Does it three more times before I get home, luckily I...

Thanks,
Mike
