Question: What are your favorite run flat tires?

The verdict is in as far as I'm concerned... The PS2 ZP's arrived and were installed (rear only, the GY's on the front still have quite a bit of life remaining). WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Incredible is the only way to describe. VERY quiet and smoother than Bill Clinton at a southern democrat fund...

    C5 Great Driving Music

Skynyrd all the way Best drivin' sounds are Skynyrd - no contest!!! Winding out 3rd as Free Bird is powering up from keyboards to metal, or just crusin' smoothly to Simple Man. It just doesn't get any better.

Question: Run flat or just flat tires?

I think the issue goes beyond "dealing with flats". Vette's are low to the ground with low side-walled tires. Alloy wheels are expensive, so is fiberglass and rapid deflation risks severe damage to both. Vette's are built to go fast and lots of owners track them from time to time. When non run...

Question: What are your favorite run flat tires?

Now I'm really cursing... Did much research, looked all over CAC for feedback as well as several other sites. Everything I read pointed to Michelin Pilot Sport P2 ZP being the tire to go with so I ordered them from Discount Tire and expect them to arrive tomorrow. I went into a store, saw the...

    Another one bites the dust....

Correct!!! As an example, just look at how they embellished the candicacy of that neighborhood organizer from Chicago (or was it, Hawaii, eh, er, Kenya?). Whatever!

    headlight mods

Headlamp intensity is my only complaint on my C5. Too bad, because it would have been so easy for the facatory to improve lighting. As it is I don't drive my C5 after dark unless I must. Silly GM, you'd think they'd want us to drive our cars as much as possible and that they'd take care of...

    Question: wheels/wits end

I had a thought... With all the dealer closings, I wondered if any such inventory had been returned to GM as NOS? I took a look at GM Parts Online at GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts Sorry - no good!

    Why do people tailgate Corvettes?

This is a problem no matter what you're driving. Add to this the fact that they're also fiddling with their radios and cell phones and it is a recipie for disaster. When in the Vette, you're sitting pretty low so you're probably just more aware of it then. My favorite trick is to crawl to a stop...

    Any issues with the 2002-2004s?

Only one small issue so far -- CD changer seems to cycle endlessly sometimes when the CD carrier/cassette is left in the player and the car is shut off. If this is left too long it will drain the battery. No clue why this is happening, but as a solution, I'm in the habit of removing the...

    Lazer readings

YIKES!!! I have no interest in visiting the lock-up. Unil last year I also had a LS2 GTO in my stable which I used as my daily driver. It didn't handle as well as the Vette, but it got off the line nicely and merged like magic. Anyway, it had little trouble getting seen by LE. In fact, that's...

    Question: Maintenance on 2004 Vette

Carefully remove it without spilling so pets aren't exposed to risks of exposure . Put it in a sealed container, pour it into the first open Mustang you see.:beer (Just kidding of course)

Love or leave???? Please reply with your vote

I love the concept of taking a great car and making it perform even better. To that end, Calloway is a wonderful enhancement. Personally, I don't care for bold logos or badging, so I'd pass.
