    How do you get at the left outer tailight bulb on an 88 convertible? I checked my Helms manual, and theres no way I can squeeze my arm in there from the bottom as recommended. Also tried by taking the license plate off...again no way. Do I have to drop the exhaust?

    Seized Fill Plug-4+3 OD Unit

    Any ideas on how to remove a stubborn fill plug? I am servicing both the transmission and the 4+3 OD unit on my 88, and the fill plug will not come out on the OD unit. Tried carefully applying heat along with an 18" pipe wrench. No luck. I'd hate to break the housing. Any ideas??????????????;shrug

    1988 Bose Stereo Replacement?

    Does anyone have experience upgrading the Bose head unit in an 88 to a newer style that can play CD's, I-Pod interface, etc? Can the Bose speakers be utilized with an aftermarket stereo or must the speakers be changed as well? Thanks:w

    Just joined today. This looks like a great place to talk shop on everything about Corvettes. Mine is a 1988 Triple Black convertible w/ 13,000 miles. Just purchased locally from a military guy who has moved it form one storage facility to another.
