I know that Corvettes from 1969 to 1971 had a special water pump, not only the lenght type change but also the shaft diameter...

I need to replace the water pump and some pulleys on my 69' vette (350 ci). What I've to choose? Long type or short type water pump???;shrug

Oh, yes different offset rims I suppose... are they easy to find? But rims are more expensive than wheel studs and shipment to Italy for 4 rims is more expensive than rims price!!!!

Thanks for the answer! Why not a great idea? I suppose for wheel bearing longevity...? Ok for the thread size (7/16"-20 RH)...but which is the correct Knurl diameter, 0.480" or 0.486" ??? I can't find on the web 2.1/4" long wheel studs with this specifications. The most diffused are 2.875"...

I'm going to install wheel adapters (max 1/2" thickness) on my 69' coupè, so I need new longer wheel studs... Which is the tipical stock size for wheel studs? Where I can get longer ones?? Could be this ones good for my application...
