    New and strange sound...???

Running PZero 275/30/19 up front. Car is lowered on stock bolts, but not all the way. Parking area was flat. I recently put new tires on rear...305/30/19??:confused I do not think it was the brakes since at the time of the noise, I was backing up and not applying the brakes unless it was...

    New and strange sound...???

I drove the Vert to work on Monday (bah humbug!). When I backed out of my parking slot to go home, I had to cut steering wheel all the way to the stops (cut wheels to the left). While rolling backwards, I heard a strange new scrubbing noise? I do not think it was the tires (Front=PZero...

Problem with the Active Handling and ABS

Same issue with my Y2K Vert. I do not have Active Handling, so my issue is just the stall pump motor. For now, I am ignoring it since I grew up driving cars w/o ABS. LT

    Gas Gauge Problems

I agree...the heart of the issue is "why"? Why does their flagship have so many unique "engineering" issues? :confused I've heard all the counter arguments about how complex and sophisticated this vehicle is...but, it still does not explain "why"...during an entire model generation (C5) the...

    Gas Gauge Problems

I am curious...what is the experience with other GM products? Does anyone have a faulty gas guage in their Malibu sedan or Chevy truck? I have a 2004 Silverado 4wd and never have experienced this issue despite the type of gas I burn?? :confused Go figure??:bash I do experience it frequently...

    C5 Recomendations and Cautions

There is something to be said for the simplicity of the C3s. :cool C5s are fun to drive. I love mine. But, there are days when I'd love to pull out all the computer crap and drop in a 427 SB or 454 BB with an 850 Holly carb, some nice headers and go tear up the road. (I know...pollution...

    Eating crow

I agree. Mine usually does not see rain. Then in Bowling Green at the C5/C6 Bash it sat out all night in rain. Next morning, the DIC was acting very strange. After it all dried out, it returned to its normal docile behaviour. I hate to say it, but I plan to avoid rain as best I can. :ohnoes

    False Tire Sensor Reading

I love this issue. My Y2K Vert does not have the sensors in the aftermarket CCWs and tires. But, the DIC still tells me every so often that my left rear tire is close to flat?? :chuckle

    Electric cut outs?

Any one have this mod? How do you like it? What did it cost...roughly? Did you have to change anything with the computer or other parts to use it? I understand there are tuning issues if I were to go to headers. So, it got me wondering.;shrug LT

Gear indicator on A4 shift boot...

...broke. :confused I am talking about the little red indicator needle that that shows what gear you are in. Now, it does not affect the drivability of the car...but, how do I get to it to fix it? :ohnoes Does anyone have the procedure to be followed to access this part? ;shrug I thought I...

HOW TO DEACTIVATE INTERIOR COURTESY LIGHTS??

Did someone say "Parade"?? Where? When? ;LOL On a related topic, what about the light under your hood? Does it go out too? I was working on it recently and started to leave the hood open while I went to eat supper...but, decided against it since my Delco is over 4 years old. It got me...
