YUP, IT WAS LOWER PICKUP COIL I CHANGED IT OUT AND THE CAR FIRED RIGHT UP NO PROBLEMS. AFTER I PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER I CHECKED THE TIMING AND I BELIEVE IM AT 6 DEGREES BTDC IM NOT REALLY SURE WHAT IT IS SUPOSE BE AT.........DOES ANY BODY KNOW WHAT THE FACTORY TIMING DEGREE IS......AND HOW...
I TOOK THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR OFF AND THE SCREEN IS PRETTY DIRTY AND WHERE IS THE LOWER COIL LOCATED? IS IT REPLACEABLE OR DO YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW DISTRIBUTOR? IS IT DIFFICULT TO SET THE TIMING ON THE DISTRIBUTOR ONCE YOU TAKE IT OUT AND PUT IT BACK?
