Under "body and frame" pull up the file called "C2 Door Anatomy". It's based on my 65 so I don't know how much the 63 and 64 might differ.
Under "Interior" open "C2 Power Window repair". Check out the tip about...
The gaps between the teeth on each end (outermost 2 teeth) look a little narrower than the others????
They look OK to me though! Take it to Carlisle!

Thanks for your replies! I think I have a lead on a 3.36 rear that is near the build date for my car.
Appreciate you guys looking out for me!

Thanks Tom! I think you are right that lots of folks had already headed out to Carlisle or were busy getting ready to. I have been in contact with Bairs but I haven't called Lonestar yet. Got a few other calls to make also.
Thanks for your help.

Greetings fellow CAC Folks. I have recently developed a want/need for a differential housing (or complete rear) for my 65 coupe (build date August 27, 1964). It currently has a 3.70 posi. I thought that rather than rebuild the 69 rear in it now I might chase a correct dated housing at least...

Sounds like you are going to need a new mast jacket as well as the shaft. Here are some pics that should answer your questions.
JohnZ indicates that the index marks are all supposed to be at 12:00. Alignment shops frequently take short cuts like you see in the picture of the marks...
Thanks guys. Now I'm blushing! Appreciate the kudos. Appreciate even more all the help you guys have given to me and the friendship that has grown out of it!

Project is pretty straight forward (if that can be said about any of these jobs on our cars).

Thanks John! I've been teaching Aggies for 28 years now. Not bad for a kid from N.J.!
I see you live in that town where that other university is located! :)
Hope we get a chance to meet over some vettes someday. Waco maybe?

Door pull pic
Been a while since I had mine apart. Sorry for the small image but I think you can get the gist of it. The pull is held on by two large screws (circled). The spring wraps around the central stud and tucks under the tab at top and into the hole at the bottom. The cloth covered...
This is probably the car in question. Really neat metallic red color that the picture does not capture. I kind of remember those "vents" in the rear deck.
Snapped this when Dave W (Magic) and I stopped at MAM on the 2005 Power Tour.

Good luck with the cluster re-install. Not too bad if you take your time. I labeled all the connectors when I installed a new dash harness. Plug and play as someone else said in a previous thread.

The guy who did my windshield uses something called ADCOSEAL WB300 Non-drying sealant. ADCO told me it is the same thing as CRL 7708 (C.R. Lawrence) Windshield and Body Sealant. 3M also makes an Auto Bedding and Glazing Compound 08509 in caulk tubes if you can find it. I found the 7708...

Bearing replacement is pretty straightforward. Pics are from a 65 non-tele column.
Good luck.

I've had some luck using short pieces of the oversize pipe cleaners you get at craft shops. I take two pieces about an inch long, bend them in half and insert the two little V pieces at right angles to each other into the hole. The fuzz tends to hold them in place and I think the twisted wire...
