SnakeSkinner had Siamesed runners, Seondaries removed, retimed cams, no cats, custom headers, 3.90 rear end, and single mass fly wheel. As stated weigth reduction was the key factor in performance, per Sports Car International May, 1992 car even had Carbon fiber brakes.

No, mine are the real deal, I noticed there is a difference in the thickness, might be a difference between the racing and street versions. I called Dymag and they said all of their wheels are magnesium.
Actually looking for feedback trying to decide to keep or sell, I already have Dymag IIs on my ZR-1. So am trying to decided what to do.
1)Can 315s fit on the 17X9.5?
2)Does anyone know of anyone who wants to sell a GEN I 17 X11?
3)Any thoughts on value, as bad as the paint is they are in...
Dymags are in.....
17 X11, one and also one 17x9.5

Silver GEN I: Three of these...
I thought you callaway guys would appreciate this, so I thought I would post. I helped a friend sell a car, in exchange I am receiving 10, yes that is correct 10 Dymag wheels, one set of First Gens with 17x11s, one set of Gen IIs, and a 2 extra gen one 17X9.5s. Best part is the cost to me...
I am finishing up my Plenum porting project on my ZR-1, next will be refinishing the Dymags. I have Gen IIs, and was wondering if Dymags require different lugs & of what they are made. Also curious are Torque specs different on true mag wheels than Alum stockers?

My Dymags are in decent shape, no damage to the rim, just scuffs in the epoxy primer that was used when they painted the rims a charcoal grey. I also noted that they use this stuff(prokote) on Jet wheels which are magnesium. My guess is that magnesium is not as fragile as its sometimes made...
Found this interesting: Might be a possibility for do it yourself Dymag resto

House of Kolor also makes a magnesium Epoxy primer called kwikure.
