Steering wheel emblem
Just about all venders sell them...steering wheel emblems by Cyberdine.....I got mine at Corvette Central....around $20.00...or go to Cyberdine's website
Under carriage spray
Seeing as how you took off the black paint I don't know that this spray will give you the look that you want....I use this on my Vette and CTS...it last for quite a long time...but then again I don't wash my cars with soap...just cold water....
Fuel rail letters
Look at Corvette Central...When I had my C-4 that's where I got my from...never had any problems with them coming off, etc...just about all venders have them
Hijack of thread
Larry...not trying to hijack your thread...but seeing your last name...it's not a common one... do you have any relatives living in Michigan...I worked at a nuclear plant with a Ed Breault for 20 years...I think his family was from the Chicago area
Wheels
Seeing as how you are in South Bend...go on Tire Rack's web site and check out their wheels on your model of car...in case you didn't know they are located on the west side of town off of Cleveland RD just pass the bypass...first road to the left
Tires
I have Firestone Firehawks on my 02 Vert....no problems....I don't know about snow or rain as I never drive in the rain or on dirt or gravel roads
Shell gas
I have not tried it in my Vette yet but I have gone through at least 3 tank fulls in my 09 CTS..no change in performance or mileage....but like they said it is to clean rather than to enhance performance, etc...
Just looked at your web site...very nice...you made mention of no glove compartment so you have to use the center console...did you know that there is storage in the arm rest on the doors? Just lift up on the top half of the arm rest and there is a small storage area in each arm rest...
On the 1995 C4 that I used to have the jack handle was under the driver's seat and the jack was in the storage compartment in back of the passinger seat...you have to put the driver's seat all the way forward to see it....the handle that is....
WD-40
If YOU READ the front of the WD-40 container you will see that it says it is good for "loosens rusted parts, frees sticky mechanisms, and drives out moisture"....so even though I am not a chemist and apparently you are...that qualifies as a penetrating type liquid to me
