Try WD-40. It works and won't hurt paint.

I know this is a long-shot but it is worth a try... I am looking for a Uniroyal Steel Belted radial tire. This was OEM for mid-1970's GM products. If anyone has or knows where to find one (or more) I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!
