I had my handles replaced about two months ago, and it's been silent ever since. The tech who replaced them was kind enough to give me the rest of the tube of SuperLube. When I got the receipt for the warranty work (no cost to me), it showed $17.00 as the cost of the lube. Rick Always Wave! :w

I'm sorry to hear this, 76okievette! I had no issues from my dealer. They ordered the new roof handles without question, the handles came in, I gave them a copy of the TSB, and they installed them and lubed everything exactly as the TSB said. One month later, the roof is absolutely silent...

Peter: The ZP's are on the Tire Rack website, although in short supply. My Long Beach Discount Tire shop said they could get them in three days, and that it would be $1800 for a full set, installed. Rick

I agree. I recently did the full Zaino program: wash with Dawn, Zaino AIO for a base, 2 coats of Z-5 Pro with ZFX, 1 coat of Z-2 Pro with ZFX, Z-6 detail in between, and a final spray with Z-8 Grand Finale Spray. I will do 3 or 4 more coats of Z-2 Pro over the next few weeks, then ZCS Clear...

Are there any optional wider tire sizes that can be run on stock 2008 C6 Coupe rims (front: 18" x 8 1/2"; rear: 19" x 10") without clearance or other problems? Stock sizes are 245/40-18 front and 285/35-19 rear. Thank you! Rick :w Remember to always wave!

I'm sorry it didn't work, but I notice you have a 2005 C6, and it is possible that you have other roof issues besides the one that the "E" clips fix. I suggest that you review all of the posts in this thread, and well as the posts in the thread about Roof Noise in the C6 General Information...

Yes, it is a shame, especially since it cost $1.24 at my Lowe's, and in GM quantity it would probably cost 15 cents. Every dealer should automatically install the "E" clips before delivering any C6 coupe to a new buyer, if Bowling Green doesn't do it. As a new member of Corvette Action Center...

SUCCESS! "E" clips work! No more noise! Yesterday the car sat in the sun on a 90 degree day while at work. No noise whatsoever on the way home, even over bumps! Do the "E" clip repair! See the photo of where to install them in Jason's reply to my query. :beer
