    Odometer not working

    My fathers 1966 corvette was in a front end collision many years ago. Since that time the odometer no longer spins. The speedometer works flawlessly, but the odometer doesn't even try to move. Any ideas of what could be broken? Better yet, anyone know someone in the NJ area that knows how to fix it?

    1966 Brake lghts not working

    Thanks for the advice Tom. After doing a little more research, it appears that the other two black wires that I had mentioned go to a capacitor for the brake switch. Anyone have any experience with these going bad? I'm going to try jumpering out the brake switch first. I really hate climbing...

    So one day the brake lights were working, the next day...nothing. Anyone run into this before? The fuse for the stop lights is good. Looking under the dash, I can see the brake light switch. There's a black wire with a plastic connector on one side and an orange wire with a plastic connector...
