Thanks for the replies regarding the universal joints on my car. It doesn't seem as big as job as I thought it would be. On the c3's it is a much bigger job.
I called carolina clutch and they said a luk clutch was not available but a valeo and a luk flywheel for $1000.00. This seems quite reasonable especialy when the gm dealer want $2500.00 just for the flywheel. What did you put on you rcar? Any suggestions on what clutch and flywheel would be...
Thanks for the info. I was told that I also need to change the flywheel because it is a dual mass and can't be resurfaced. Does anyone have any experience with this ?
I had a corvette specialist check it out today and he says I need a new clutch. Does anyone know of a good clutch to buy. It is the lt1 motor so I don't think I need a performance clutch. My car is a 93 convertable.
Can anyone help me to firgure out if the clutch is slipping or if the hydraulic clutch is causing it to slip because it isn't working properly. The car has 38000 miles on it and i can't believe the clutch is worn out.
How am i supposed to install spark plug wires on a 1993 C4 corvette. It seems that i will have to take the whole engine apart just to get at them. Any help would be appreciated.
