Thanks guys! Well I just checked my vacuum line to the valve and no suction. I should have looked at that to begin with. I'm going to poke around next week when I get back from vacation and I will let you know.

I have a problem with my power locks not working. I changed out the switch harnesses at the doors because they looked a bit crusty, but still no power locks. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Mark
I have all 3 options, pwr locks, pwr windows & defroster. Windows and defroster work but no power locks. I replaced the harneses at the back of the switches on the doors cause they looked a bit crusty, but they still don't work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I finally got around to changing out the water shutoff valve but I still have the "hot feet" problem;shrug. I'm not sure where to dig next, maybe I will check to see if all the vacuum lines at the temp controls are in their right place. One odd thing happened after this...

best regards.

I got a picture or two but can't make out what's what??? I will try to post some scans later on. I ordered a valve anyway, it seems inexpensive so I might as well give it a shot before I dive into the vacuum hell....
Thanks again for the help. So the hoses feel very hot on both sides of the valve when the engine warms up, so I assume the valve is stuck open. But with that said, I pulled the vacuum hose to see what happens and my headlights pop-up, that leads me to believe maybe there's some vacuum lines...
Thanks everyone for the quick replies, at least I know where to begin. I really appreciate the help. Is there a way to test the hot water valve? There is nothing on that in the shop manual???
Hello,
This is my first post, forgive me if this has been asked before. I just got my '81 couple of weeks ago and I noticed that I'm getting a lot of heat from underneath the dash or somewhere in that area. It makes for a very uncomfortable drive, especially on hot days. All climate controls...
