Cheapest transport method for soon to be new addition

I think the Uhaul technique is what I would do. A cheaper ooption than having a company move it for you.

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

Anyone know off hand what size that rubber piece is by chance? I think Im going to stop at the parts store on the way home tonight and I wont get a chance to check its size or remove it to take with me. I think IM going to buy a replacement rubber, just in case.

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

I got the fuel lin off tonight. Going to replace it hopefully this week. One question, there are two lines that go to the top of the fuel filter. One of them goes to the carb and I am working on. The other appears to be connected to the fuel filter by a rubber hose that is clamped on the...

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

Im having problems getting the metal line off the fuel filter right now. One thing the auto parts store mentioned was that they said I couldn't use a brake line , they said I needed a fuel line that has a rubber 0-ring on the end that goes to the carb. I took my line off on that end and it...

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

I was a little concerned about the fit on the pieces from the vendors anyways. I noticed in one of my reference books that it appears on the 1969, that the fuel filter is mounted on the A.I.R. pump? If that is true that would place if slightly farther away from the carb than my current fuel...

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

Still trying to figure out how to just do the single line instead of the set of three. If I understand everyone correctly, I can go to any autoparts store and get a 3/8th inch brake line. Than I need to get something to cut the line, flare the line and maybe even bend it? Is that correct...

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

Eckler's has the set also. What I would like tho is just one of the 3 part set. Just the line going to the carb. The others I have and are in good shape. Hate to pay for 2 parts I don't currently need.

Question: Fuel filter to carb metal line replacement

The previous owner of my 69 427-390 for some reason removed the metal fuel line that goes from the fuel filter to the carburetor. He replaced the metal fuel line with a rigged-up rubber hose setup that looks a little shaky to say the least. Can anyone suggest to me a place I can just purchase...

    Replacement door handle options

I need to replace my driver's side outside door handle and have been looking around. I noticed a lot of different prices out there for the exact same item (in theory). Ebay has them for 17$ Eckler has them for 28$ and at 70$ Corvette Central has them as a special for 40$ I know you don't...

    DR DOOR Handle

Here is a picture of my door handle I got out last night. Notice that it is missing a lot. Seems to have had a catastrophic failure.

    Identify this part please

Nice picture, I notice no front air cowl. I dont see any front air cowl on yours either. My car dates out to march 15. Im not sure how it would fit in there. It also sounds like the best bet is to just fix the spot not replace a huge section?

    Identify this part please

Wow, that is interesting, what are the odds that both of ours are missing or never had the right side cover? I didn't even realize it was there until I seen them selling the set in a catalog. I am not sure how one can even fall out, they are in thier pretty tight. Now I notice the grill on that...

    Identify this part please

Went to look at it tonight. It appears to be like some said, part of the body. It looks like I need a body man to fix it. Anyone know if its a relatively easy fix? Also, does anyone have a picture of the air dam I am missing on a car? I have a 427 with air conditioning. After all this, I...

    Identify this part please

On my 69 , the former owners hit something and broke a piece of the fiberglass off. They didn't keep the piece and I was wondering if anyone here could answer a few questions. Here is the picture of the broken body part. What is this section of the car officially called? I would call it the...
