The seatback is not electric. I removed the latches and can't see anything wrong. No dirt etc. Is there any mechanism that keeps the seatback from going forward if there is an accident. Car had a light frontend accident before i got it years ago. Can't think of anything else.

Yes. I put c6 wheels on my 89 and they fit perfect. the ofset was the same. I put 17s on the front and 18s on the back, No problem.

SHELL I burn through 3 tanks of fuel per week and allways use shell. I haven't noticed any change in performance or fuel mileage. Seems to wrok ok for me and the xtra gunk removal can't hurt.

c4 rollbar I've seen them listed on ebay too; however, they don't fit the roadster because the back cover comes too close to the back of the seat. theyre isn't enough clearance. Would like to get one too.

I just looked on the back of the remote and it says in small letters atv 1 security. I guess it is aftermarket. will do a internet search for atv 1 security. thanks

alarm I have an 89 and the alarm sets if i losk it with the factory remote or push the electric door locks. It deactivates by unlocking it with the key in the drivers door or with the remote.

who i bought my vette from I bought all three vettes on ebay, an 82, 85,and 89. Still have the 82 and 89.
