1985 C4 (110,000 easy miles) - Smog Pump makes rattling/vibration noise at idle, and when RPM's are dropping down to an idle. Seems fine while driving. When the A/C is on, it seems louder/worse at idle (or dropping to an idle). I thought it was an internal vibration in the Smog Pump, or bad...- tigerdan

Help! Fuel pump does not turn on when key is turned until motor turns over about 10 seconds
This problem only occurs when I first get into the car. If it does start, the check engine light is lit. If I turn off the key and listen for the fuel pump to turn off (just a few seconds), the car will start just fine. So,... Why does the fuel pump not turn on the first time I try to start it...- tigerdan
