Doh! :duh......just noticed you were talking about a '67 L88. The one at the Kruse auction is a '69. I thought about cruising down to see what some of these beauties go for.
Brett
Tom....it's up for sale again on October 21st at Kruse. Assuming it's the same one I saw in the Kruse brochure I recieved last month. It's a medium blue roadster that was part of the Bob Phelps collection. Here's the listing...
Lou....that's exactly what she said when he told us about it last night :L Can't say I'd disagree either ;)
Brett
Lou- very sorry to just read about your mom passing. Tam and I send our best to ya buddy.
and could use a little advice.
Here's the deal:
I was approached last night by a friend at our cigar lounge. His dad's friend is looking to sell his '71 coupe, and it sounds like he needs the cash pretty quickly. What little I know- 454 with a 4 speed, side pipes and 39k miles. Supposed to be...
Alan......somethings not sounding right here. I've got an '02 with about 13-14k on the mileage. I've never heard of rotors going bad from lack of use. And my seats have a little wear on them......but not enough to replace. If you haven't already, I'd talk directly with the dealership that did...
Congrats on the new ride. I'm sure it was the right decision for you.
For me, it was 2 reasons:
Didn't want to give up my roadster
Didn't want to downgrade in hp/torque ;)
........but, like you, I haven't ruled out adding one to my stable in the future.
Brett
Well La....Tee...Da. I just love it the way you register here to sell your car and then have a snit when someone asks a legitimate question. Not being a member of the NCRS, I don't know their rules. But according to you, if you can't see the changes, then it's perfectly alright to call it...
Tammy has driven my vette.......ok, ok, if you ask her, it's really her's, as it has her name beneath the right front fender....thanks to her uncle in the BG plant :eyerole
But that was before I gave her a heart transplant :naughty: Tammy's driven her once since. And once was enough. She's...
Hey Zippy.....how long was it til you were comfortible enough driving your Z to put it in comp mode at the start of every ride?
I know it took me a while :L
Brett
Hey Remo,
I lowered mine last year to the end of the stock settings. No real issues with clearance. What I did notice immediately was the stiffer ride. Bumps are more jarring now. I assume it is because the suspension doesn't have as much movement to absorb the bumps. At least once or twice...
I agree 100% that flats are rarer today. I drive about 40k miles a year and haven't had a flat in probably 20 yrs.......but in my trucks, I've always got a spare :D But I have seen my share of blown tires from people hitting debris in the roadway. Not much you're gonna do about that.
Now with...
Good choice on the run-flats. I know I wouldn't want my wife riding around without them. I've got regular tires on mine.....and every trip over a couple hours away from home, it's always in the back of my mind that I don't have runflats :ugh
Brett
Say it ain't so Lou :ugh Maybe we're gonna have to change that :lou to one that shucks parts during burnouts ;LOL Did you have to push it in the trailer this time? If you want, bring that badboy over here and we'll put it on my lift and change out the tranny while Tammy sits there giving us...
