I have looked all over, and so far no luck. Does anyone know where I can get a poster size picture of a black C6 with the top down? I'm really looking for somehting professionally done so I can make it a wall hanger.
Thanks in advance. :w
I am very disapponted with the new colors. I'm ready to repaint my new '07 to a color resembling the old magnetic red. Shame on you Bowling Green for discontinuing Monterey Red!
:bash
Thanks guys. I was afraid that this new red would not be a replacement for a metallic red, and my fears proved right. So... I guess my wife will just have to get used to black. She is from the old school that says "all Corvettes are red"!!
Does anyone have any information about the new colors for '08? My wife and I had two C5's that were torch red, and now we have a triple black, but she isn't happy with it!
Does anyone know what the new red is for '08? I heard rumors about a "crystal red" but I have no idea what red that is. I...
OK guys, I need some opinions. I ordered a new C6 and I'm considering a "3M Clear Bra".
First of all, are they worth the price? Does the film stay on even with a sharp water spray? Would you do it yourself or pay someone to install? Is there a local source in the Detroit area? What is the going...
First of all... I can't believe you put your car thru car wash! Even if you luck out and survive without scratches or other damage, your wheels are larger than the normal car, and if your wash rack has a conveyor you WILL scar up your aluminum wheels on the conveyor side. And thats providing...
You can buy an oil analysis kit from Amsoil. I would recomend a change every 12 months wether you need it or not. It's cheap insurance. AND... I would use the very best I could afford!
You just spent large bucks on the car, why chintz on a small thing like oil and a filter? Would you feed a...
:confused I've got them, and would like to get them off. I'm leary to do so, in fear of screwing up the paint under them. I've hear of using fishing string, but not real confident in trying it. Anybody have any goof proof ideas? ;help
:beer Well Mike,
I can sympathize with you. I feel the same way. When we went down to Nashville last year I bought a speed bra and had it installed at the museum before we started the trip back home to Detroit. Good thing I did. While on the road back the car in front of me kicked up a beer...
Well Edmund,
The big difference is that synthetic oil doesn't break down from heat like conventional oils do. As for the filter, yes you still have to change the filter at least every 12,000 miles or 12 months. The premium synthetics will go 25,000 miles without a change, with normal filter...
I use AMSOIL, the original pure synthetic. I do change it annually even though you can run it for 25,000 miles without a change, as long as you change the filter every 12,000. Under independent testing it proved to be tops in the industry.
Just my 2 cents!

Well Fred,
I find the ride in my Vette to be very comfortable even with the GY run flats, so I would not change to a softer tire. But if I were to replace these, I would have to look at either Michelin, or Bridgestone. And I would try to get the zero pressure model where available. I have...
