Another dash problem on my 88 1. It looks as though a light is out and only 1 as one part of the dash just right of the speedometer is dim. 2. The whole dash appears to flicker just slightly every now and then. It seems that I remember some one posting a place (besides Mid-America) that...
OK now that I m into it I've got to fix it. Replaced rear speakers and speaker relay so I no longer have the delay but still no sound from rear or door speakers.
What do I check now? With what, and what am I looking for? When or did corvette stop using this BOSE system? (Just want to be sure...
OK Guys I'm going to move up looking at 2000 C5's what do I need to be aware of any common problems, what sticks out that I might look for? It will probably be next year before I purchase so I just want to get my ducks in a row now.:pat :Steer
Seems to be BOSE month. I have a delay in my stereo (BOSE) Factory when I turn it on it will delay up to 5 minutes before coming on heard popping coming from rear speakers relaced with new same problem. When the stereo does come on the only speakers with any sound are the ones in the dash. I...
I know I've asked before but does anyone know where the radio relay is located on the 88 Coupe and what do I have to remove to replace it. What happens is when I turn the radio on it delays a while before coming on.

An article in this months Corvette Fever prompts me to write this. Is it the compressor or just the clutch? One day this past summer I smelled a horrible smell that seemed to be rubber burning when checked i found that the pulley on the front of the A/C unit was not turning unplugged wire on...

Thanks again.
I am not a big fan of rebuilt parts just bad experience in the past.

My A/C Compressor just locked up on me. I took it to my mechanic and he unplugged the clutch and said it would be OK to run until I could get it replaced. Price $745 I have found 1 at another parts store for $536 with exchange. Questions is my mechanic right? (Car seems to be running OK but...
Thanks for the replies I guess I will quit worrying about it. The sun is finally shining and it's time for cruising. The longest winter I can remember in along time and not sure it's really over with yet.
HAPPY CRUISING TO ALL.

Has anyone experienced this I just noticed that the hood appears ro be rubbing on the top back part of the engine and on the accumalator (A/C) hose. Shimming the hood doesn't sound like a good idea to me. It is noticable enough to see white fiberglass residue where it is rubbing. What next?
