I am experiencing a coolant drip on my 86 C4 L98 when I stop the engine. I can't get to the leak without a lot of work. I was wondering what it does. It appears to have a vent on the left side.

Can anyone tell me the function of this switch. It is located on the passenger side of the distributor. on a 1986 C4 coupe?

I am new to the 1986 Corvette. What are the problem areas as far as reliability goes. Are there any spares I should carry on longer trips? Is the fuel pump relay prone to failure or other similar problems. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
