thanks for your help, my 3rd brake lite is in the rear above the license plate. would the switch you're talking about be in the same place, and that switch controls only the 3rd brake lite? thank again,new to site trying to figureout

can anyone help me with figuring out why the 3rd brake lite will not work on my 1992 . installed new tested lamp still nothing. Regular brake lites work fine. thank you
