Thanks Vettehead, i was kind of thinking that might be the case. I've only ever looked at them with the car up on blocks.

So, i decided to replace the leaf spring bolts and rubber cushions in my 82. It has a fiberglass leafspring. My question is, should the holes in the spring line up directly with the mounting holes in the trailing arm? My leafspring holes are a good inch back which sets the bolts at an angle...

Has anyone replaced their stock crossfire manifold with the Renegade manifold? If so, was it difficult and was it worth doing? Thinking about it for my 82 collectors edition. Thanks!!

Thanks Tom, i was suspecting it is the nature of the beast as you said. I'm planning on upgrading some of the suspension components, bushings etc and will likely add new shocks since i really don't know how old they are.

Hey guys, my 82 collectors edition has a very noticeable drop lr rear squat when i shift into drive. Any thoughts? Shocks? The fiberglass leafspring appears to be fine. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input guys! So here's what i discovered, rather by accident. I installed a new DUI distributor cap and coil, rotor and flame thrower ignition module. I removed the air cleaner assembly to make it easier, after i installed them of course i started it and it fired right up and idled...

Well i finally got to drive her after installing the chip and yes i can definitely tell the difference!! Money well spent! Dave, what type of cap, coil, rotor did you go with? Also, does anyone know who sells the oil temp sensor for this car? Thanks!

Well guys, feeling pretty stupid, finally decided to take a close look at the cc transducer and I'm pretty sure i know why it's not working....no speedo cables lol!!!

I haven't taken her out yet but definitely I'll let you know. Btw, have you done anything as far as removing the smog equipment on yours?

I was just about to post lol, pulled the chip out and found 2 bent pins, straightened those, reinstalled and she's purring like a kitten!
