Yes, the diagram is no longer on my 1981. Thinking about just doing away with the smog pump and diverter. Not sure its all working anyway. And it to expensive to replace. It may be the vacuum lines are wrong. They don't do smog tests in my state any more. Not sure what I'm going to do. But...

Does anyone have any stock pictures of a 1981 corvette engine with the breather off so you can see how the vacuum lines run? Any help would be great. Thanks Wayne.

Got finished with the fuel pump, hoses and filter today. Took her out for a test drive, and all went well and no gas leaks. On my 81 it has two bolts across from the fuel pump, the first one is a bracket that goes to transmission the one behind it is the one that holds the rod in place, so if...

I got the AC stock replacement fuel pump. I'm trying to keep it all stock. It's not a daily driver, just use it to take out on weekends, and have some fun with from time to time.

Does anyone know what the best way to change the fuel pump on a 1981 corvette with a/c ? Would it be best to go from the top, the bottom, or through the finder weld on passenger side. From looking none of them look very easy. Plan on changing return line and feed line while i'm at it, and fuel...

Hey thanks a lot, just went out and done as you said, got code 12 flashed 3 times, then got a code 13 three times, and back to 12 three times. What does code 13 mean? has it got to do with an oxygen sensor?:happyanim:

Thanks guys for the info, found out today the emc plug don't work. So at the moment I have no way of pulling the codes. Car runs good and and the idle is good, all gauges read good. The light comes on only when driving about 50mph or 55mph. Stays on a minute and goes off and then comes on...
