Question: Premium (91) vs. Regular (87) for your VETTE!

Smog free California only offers premium fuel @ 91 octane. That all I have ever used in my Corvette and GT3 Porsche.

    Car Covers

You are putting your Corvette in a carport. Several vendors sell good quality outdoor car covers. I've had good luck dealing with West Coast Corvettes, but most of our sponsoring vendors should be able to tell you what you need. Good luck

    Run Flats Ran Flat

Run flats saved me a 13 mile walk a couple months ago. I don't care if the ride is a little harsh or noisy, run flats were designed to do a specific job and they do it well.

    Lowering the C6

I bought the correct lowering bolt from West Coast Corvettes and dropped the car about 2.5 inches in back and 2 inches in front. Love it. The car handles better and looks great, especially in profile. If you want to drive like an idiot I'm sure you can wreck anything. My car looks like "aints"

    Low oil pressure?

Thanks guys. I recently built a very stout 383 stroker for my adult son and we put it in an El Camino. It runs about 65 PSI consistently (also runs low 12s) I am always comparing the El Camino to my other cars.

    Low oil pressure?

While driving my 05 in 65 degree temp at legal speeds I noticed my oil pressure was sitting @ 35 lbs...normally its at 40 lbs. The car has 22,000+ miles showing and runs like a new car. Is this normal? Just had an oil change, Mobil 1 5-30 two weeks ago. Any comments will be appreciated.

    Exhaust / Intake question

Dom, Take as much time as necessary to read the posts and replies in this forum. Most of your questions will be answered. Yes you can change mufflers (cat back) without a cold air intake change. However, a lot of people go with an aftermarket CAI when doing the mufflers. I have Borla Stingers...
