I bought these off of a forum member with intentions of using them. I sold the car before they got used. They are just as they were when I got them as you see in the pics.
Here are a few pics of the lugs with the cones shown. If you need more pics let me know.
Wonder what the rest of the video shows. I am guessing that the video does not show the beginning of the tape. There is no way the guy with the camera pulled it up and got the camera started just to catch the wreck. Somehow I just don't think this tells all of the story.
I still see that the Z...
That is pretty good. I have not used the ZIP website in quite a while since I have my corvette to that point for a while. I can see those clips mentioned in the top blog as being a pretty good seller.
I have been a member of most of the corvette type forums for a long time. Some I frequent more often than others. For the last 6 months or so I have been away from most of the corvette forums. I just recently got to reading them again. I have noticed there is quite a bit of moderation going on...
Good advice SR-71. I replaced mine years ago when I first rebuilt my motor. I managed to make a leak in my heater core when replacing the heater hoses. I ordered my new core from ZIP and so far it has been good. That was probably in my corvettes 2nd year with me. It has been with me for about 11...
I am trying to figure something out for my son. He needs to know if there are any differences in the gas pedal assemblies from the 68-82. If so can you help me with the differences. We know for the most part they are essentially the same but are there any differences that would keep you from...
I am going to have to agree with you. Being that it is one of one I will guess it is a museum piece from now on. The next set of picture needs to be with both cars side by side somewhere. :thumb
I would love to have one but, don't think I will be making the kind of money to make the payments on that and my house any time soon. Anyone looked up the Ebay auction to see what it is going for at this time? Is it okay to post the ebay link here?
Seen this before. I think it was made by a member over at CF. He was making them for those that wanted them. Don't remember the makers name though. It has been several years since those first came out. You may try asking the same question over there.
One of these days I would love to get up there and take part in one of these events. I just started a new job and there is no way I can get off for it this year. Maybe in a year or so.
Nice and deep sound. I don't have Flowmasters but, like you, I hardly ever listen to the radio in my 70. I would just rather listen to the car make its own music. Much better IMO. :thumb
If last years finish is any kind of indication of the competition the Corvettes will be facing this year, it should be a very exciting season for all teams involved. Thanks for posting the link.
Looking very forward to the new season of Corvette Racing!!!!
Chas,
Those are the ever popular Torque Thrust II wheels. Mine just happen to be 15X8 version with the standard corvette offset.
