Remove the battery and look for a leaking vacuum hose. I had the same code and it had nothing mechanically to do with the injection pump or hardware. I traced it to the vacuum leak under the battery. Found a hose that looked like it had rubbed through. Repaired that and the code was gone. Just...
That's a good price. I paid 18k even for my c5 and there is no way I would pay 5k for a part, minus maybe a more powerful motor. [emoji3] I wish I was closer, I rather enjoy working on Corvettes. I could fix the ebcm for free, except maybe some pizza and a cold one! Good luck and let us know...
I had the same problem with mine and also opened it up and resoldered the relay. Fixed my problem. I just googled it and found a video on YouTube of someone doing it. Copied them and it worked. I figured that if it didn't work, that was ok because it wasn't working anyway.

Well, today I took on the task of removing my EBCM. It was definitely a pain in the rear. I got it off and watched multiple interweb videos on how to repair it. I opened it up and resoldered the points that connect the relay. I siliconed it up and reassembled. I installed it back on the car...
Thanks for the welcomes. I finally passed state inspection. That broken vacuum line was a dusy. Just need to drive it more often.

Drove about 40 miles and haven't popped a code yet. Started it 3 or 4 times today to move and wash it. No check engine light. I'm going to put the code reader on it to see if it is ready for inspection. I have to have it inspected by the end of this month. Wish me luck. Oh and I adjusted the...
I had my battery box apart today and found a broken vacuum line. While poking around in there I saw where the line entered the firewall. It just went through a grommet with the wiring harness. You might have to just wiggle harnesses around to find it.

We'll, I've had the dreaded P0410 code. I used the forum to search, test and discover that I had a broken vacuum line under the battery tray. It looked like a mouse had chewed through it. Repaired it and will have to test drive to see if this fixes the code. Glad I found this forum.

Thanks for the add. I love all things Corvette. I currently own a 2001 C5 in millinium yellow. Love the car, it's pretty much all stock. I've been reading and following the forum for a while. Looking forward to learning more info from all of you.
