But don't buy from Corvette America. As a fellow Canadian I can tell you that if you have any problems and have to exchange the unit they send you, their exchange policy and how they ship through customs will cost you big time.
Sounds like the previous owner was hiding an ABS problem. Check the ABS sensors first, but mine was acting the same and it was the ABS computer. I found a used replacement out of a ZR1 on e-bay for $40 and it cleared up the problem.

Lol, and I live in North Delta but I also put my location as Vancouver for the same reason. Yes, I have been in the BCCC since 2002 but have never seen any arguing there. They have lots of events to keep up the interest and every one of the 130+ members are very friendly.
Nice to meet you.
You might want to wait a bit. I had an old Firebird years ago and I put on a free-flowing exhaust system. At a certain rpm there was a drone so I took it back and the exhaust shop told me to wait a bit until there was a little bit of carbon inside the muffler which would help to reduce the...
I bought my '90 with the ABS light showing. The previous owner was honest enough to admit he'd had it checked and it wasn't the sensors so we knew it was something more serious.
I found a '90 ZR1 ABS computer on E-Bay from an east coast Corvette wrecker and bought it for $40 because for that...
Thanks but the convertibletopguys don't offer a top with the glass back window...
CORVETTE INTRODUCED A CONVERSION OPTION WHICH ALLOWED OWNERS TO INSTALL DEFROSTER GLASS REAR WINDOWS. WE DO NOT OFFER THE GLASS OPTION ON TOPS IN THE 86-93 YEAR RANGE. THE TOPS WE OFFER HERE HAVE PLASTIC REAR...
Is there any reason why a later model convertible top (with glass rear window) could not be installed in a '90 roadster that originally has a plastic window? I can only imagine that it shouldn't make any difference with any year C4...the top itself should be the same.
thanks
I don't know how to set up for a poll, but I'd be interested in how many miles / year our members put on their Corvettes. Age and series are unimportant, just a poll showing how many miles per year. Just divide the total car miles by how many years old.
Can someone do this or has this poll...
I've used Microsoft Streets and Trips both on a laptop and a smartphone and I've used Magellan in a rental car.
You can't beat Streets and Trips on a laptop for value and with a bluetooth GPS receiver it is great; plus you have the portability and added versatility of the laptop. The...
don't forget that it's also down in the last couple of inches of fuel that the sediment is in and you don't want to be sucking up any of that...also, an empty fuel tank develops water condensation on the metal sides...keeping it topped up is good for many reasons
Of course, you can always do what I did with my wife's 77 Olds. I used a stapler and about 50 staples...looked like hell but kept it out of her eyes! Sold the car soon after for cheap!
Thanks for the response. I have been told that my used replacement came out of a 1990 ZR1 with 63,000 miles so it should be compatible.
I see your point about it possibly carrying a code form the previous vehicle, I never thought about that. Without clearing it, I could be led astray by what...
