A 63 vert that I did came back for some nick nack work and noticed that the gaskets around the door handles and locks are already cracked and dry rotted.These are only a year and a half old.Anybody else have this problem?

Its on the hood opening jamb.I want to take it off before I paint but its on there good.Is this Factory?I have a pic but cant post,having trouble.Its about the size of a half dollar and on the left rear corner of the hood opening.
