They started in 88. It was supposed to help with the new air conditioner compressor that was being used. They stoped using it in 92. The general feeling on this is to remove it. My buddies is off. I heard that it won't affect the compressor at all. It helps by taking the weight off the water...

I would like to lower the rear end on my 85. Right now i have about 3 inches from the top of my tire to the fender.Want to make it about 1 inch is it possible to do without screwing the handeling up?

WOW!!!! 740.00 dollars for a radiator & hoses .I just did mine on my 85 put new modine radiator (cost 135.00) new hoses took me about hour and half. total cost was 160.00 + hour and half of my time. :cool
Anybody have any leads on 85 window regulators. I tried ecklers, zip, and corvette america but 200.00 seems a little steep. I don't think you can just replace the motor on it or can you ? any help would be great. SAVE THE WAVE!!!
No it won't hurt anything to remove it. It's there to keep the squeel down for a.c they say by removing it gives some extra h.p . My buddy removed his didn't notice any by the seat change. But taking 10 lbs off dosen't hurt. SAVE THE WAVE:cool
