    GPS DVD Upgrade

If I want my old Corvette's Nav system to 'take me home,' I have to enter the address of the house behind me! My '21 Vette's Nav system actually shows my street!

    GPS DVD Upgrade

I have a 2013 and have the same problem. The GM DVD disc website does not offer a newer version of the Nav Disc. My home street is so new that the current disc doesn't know where I live!

Is there a way to keep engine on all 8 all the time?

I just checked my 2021 manual and the chart that shows what is working and what is not on page 210/211 shows that AFM is disabled in "Track Mode".

    What have they done??

When it's your car, you can do whatever you want to with it, especially if resell value is of no consideration.

    C8 Suspension

Since I haven't driven the base FE1 car, I can't say for sure but I love my FE2 car. Tour mode is very nice and I can tighten it up if I want by just changing modes. Plus, FE2 provides 'nose lift' which I really love.

    C6 Tires

10 years old tires are not to be trusted on road trips, even if they look good. Tires do get old and age out. I recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP.

    C6 Tires

The "ZR" in the tire size is related to speed rating. It means that the tire is rated at 149+. It's been around a long time. Since creation of speed ratings, the "ZR" rating has been over come by more special ratings which include "W", "Y" and "(Y)". Check out TIreRack's discussion of speed...

    C6 Tires

It's not a good idea to mix and match tires - it could change the handling characteristics and surprise you. Btw, the Micheline Pilot Sport A/S 3+ ZP is a run-flat tire. The "ZP" stands for Zero Pressure.

    DCT Filter change

Okay, A couple of weeks ago, my 2021 Corvette was approaching 7000 miles - time to consider getting that first service done which includes the DCT filter change. I make an appointment at my favorite dealer service department and decide to wait (the service writer said that the DCT filter change...

There is a wheel speed sensor on each wheel. These support anti-lock braking and traction control. A sensor or the wiring going to it could be bad. When the butterflies are closed on the throttle body, air is routed around them to allow the engine to idle. There are a couple of holes between...

Been a while since I owned a C4 but I have a couple of suggestions. 1. Clean the throttle body paying attention to the idle air circuits 2. Have the wheel speed sensors checked.

Site Update: 2021 Corvette: Service Update: #N212332820: Service Update - Unable to Access Apps - (Jun 9, 2021)

All these service updates that are related to the computers on the C8 make it sound like I bought a new smartphone that still has too many bugs in the operating system.

    Help! Need your opinion!

Opinion? Everybody's got one (or more). First, ditch the Firestones - they're too old, even if they look great. If you take road trips regularly, buy the A/S4 ZP and live in peace.
