I had this problem with my 97 your column lock is toast. They are all defective.... i had to have them replace my steering column lock motor in 2003 it ended up costing me 750 bucks.....they messed up the first time and then the second time they replaced the lock....it was a nightmare.

Well i got angry enough to do it myself. The udders were very clogged and i think the water was getting inside the motor and screwing it up. It wasnt that hard getting it out and the part was only 50 bucks as opposed to the 230 the dealer charges you with 105 dollar labor charge.

I had the wagon wheels for 2 years on my 97. Eventually one of them bent and instead of buying a new one i went for the chrome Z06 wheels. I highly recommend them.

I got my mufflers cut off an had them weld piping out to some resonator tips. It sounds awesome. ANd it was definetly the most bang for my buck at a total of 260 dollars.

C5 Rotors suck. I already had to replace my fronts and now my rears need to be replaced. The car sat for a few years thats probably why but still it should not make any difference.

i actually had bad luck with pertronix ignition on my impala. I ended up putting in Accel HEI. Id go HEI or stick with the points. The pertronix stuff is kinda cheap.

Gm...Awful I paid to have my column lock. Now they are telling me to bring it in and have it so it will no longer lock. This is ridiculous. I already had the whole column lock motor replaced in 2003 to the tune of 500 dollars.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

Spoilers are probably the most tacky ricey thing you can do. Go save your money or buy a new set of wheels or an exhaust or something.

good luck those caps are all different sizes. They dont even make the correct cap for my car anymore.
