I'm cleaning up my parts and projects-
I bought this about a year and ½ ago. BRAND NEW-NEVER Mounted- was just taken out of the box and drooled on (Has been cleaned off).
This has the McLeod shifter 2" left offset-and is 19.51" back-correct from my understanding for both C2 and C3's. I...
You might try Atlanta Corvette- I don't know if they have any availible time because the guys are busy going through the cars they sell. Keith there seems to be a good guy-very knowledgeable. You also might try talking to James at "The Last Detail"- right next door selling parts-he might know of...

Steering Column
YES- you do have to remove the two 1/2 bolts that hold the column up. If you want to pull the dash top holding the 4X6's you'll need to remove all the windshield header moulding (starting w/ the sunvisors). That's what I would do if working on the speakers.

63 with original interior?
Looks to be 66-67 door panels, 65-67 console and 67 seats??? If the gauges are original- looks like once opon a time it was a high horse L76 motor.
Thanks John- I am going to replace the pump-should have the new one tomorrow. But since you say there is no pressure there- I'm figuring something must be amiss because the oil was streaming upward a foot or so spraying the underside of the hood. Even with the diaphragm ruptured-I shouldn't...
I was headed back from Bowling Green's 10th anniversary festivities a few weeks ago-about 60 miles from home (300 mile drive) and smoke starts bellowing from the pass side. I pull over and find that oil is shooting from the top of the fuel pump at anything over 3k. I limp home on the...
Rebuild or not?
It takes several special tools to do the trailing arms. I've rebuilt almost everything on my 65's but had the trailing arms jobbed out. www.vansteel.com is a good place to check out.
Good luck-and don't forget to wave even if the C5's don't even notice you!!!
I'm like five miles from American Sportscar (AKA The Last Detail) and have owned my 71 bB w M21 since 1981. If you need someone to look at it-I'm picking up some parts this week. Feel free to e-mail me. Richard454@comcat.net
Headers & stuff
I HAD headers on my 71 big block 4-speed. THEY got very hot-to the point of melting the glue on the carpeting. Plus they didn't not fit very well-had to massage w/ a hammer to make fit(and I have NO power options). Not to mention that the headers run RIGHT next to your...
A couple of Hardtops
Give me a call if interested. Have a a couple extra tops in my basement. One is a 65-stripped of paint-all the trim -but no headliner or latches. The other one is a 63 in excellent original condition-black. I'm in Atlanta.

I've had my C3-71 Big block conv for 22years. Always liked the midyears- So -in the last year I've acquired 2 of them- I think they are great cars- a little easier to work on...but then more expensive!
