I had an 87 4+3 :rotfl :bash , 88 & 93 auto. Now a 99 6 speed. I've got to say, at my age and driving time, I wish the 99 were an auto. The 6 speed is fun until you get into stop and start traffic.

If the battery is dead, don't start the car and let it charge using the alternator. You may damage it. Alternators are not designed to charge a dead battery. This is true with any car. Best thing is to just buy a battery tender and just leave it on the battery while the car is in storage...
