Has anyone tried 85" A molds in front with the 11" in rear? Wanted some opinions on looks and function. The reason I want to stay away from the 9.5's in front is their tendency to pull you into what ever grove is on the road. I had them on an 89's and was always fighting it. I live in Indiana...
Has anyone used the Corvette Rubber Company weather stripping for C4's? I just ran across their ad in hemmings. Ive been trying to find something that is comparable or exact to OEM. Can't seem to find OEM anymore. I bought one for around the windshield years ago and it had to have been molded...
I just received a aftermarket from Keen Auto Patts and they're exactly like what was factory. From what I saw online is some have a different lighted mirror that looks like it's off a much newer updated car. Not sure if it's a c5 or 6 design or some random visor. I can say the ones I bought from...
I didn't start this thread but am looking for tires like the person who did start it and I for one appreciate everyone that's posted their thoughts. BfG's sound like the way to go if they have ones to fit. Or of course GY's if money's not an issue.
After my search and coming up with very few choices when it comes to sizes, I'm leaning towards the Good Years also. I think you're right on how people see the quality of the tires or question it when they see something other original equipment. I think I would if I was looking at a used vette...
Thank you! I really appreciate all this information. That's a ton of help and I'm going to check the front end out tonight when I get home. Thanks again!
Thank you! That explains a lot but could it make the light come on while driving without applying the brakes and bring on the abs and srs lights intermittently you think? The master cylinders obviously bad. Just curious if it could still be something else like a wheel cylinder to
If I get the situation with the abs/asr and brake lights coming on and going off fixed relatively cheap I was think of doing 9.5 and 11 A mold but I'm finding an even more limited selection of tires that route
Thanks for the information! I went out and checked it out today and the wire that has the one black or brown wire with tan or white stripe and is missing over an inch of insulation is actually on the frame of the master cylinder but was dry this time when I looked at it. It hasn't been driven...
When I put in my vehicle, 94 corvette convertible. The Bfg's didn't show up and when I looked up the size which they did have. It said did not fit my car. I don't know why but that's what came up. The only three that came up were the Conti, the Good Year's and the Pirellis
Thank you!! I hope you're right and it's just the master cylinder. My kids in college and when I was told about the wheel sensor and saw how much they were, it's taken forever to come up with the cash to have this looked at and fixed. I need tires to so if I can get off easy on this one I may...
I've got the same question and am finding the same issues. I had Kumo Asx and didn't like them. The side walls are way to soft and flexible and it's made me Leary of the cheaper tires but the reviews on the continental extreme contacts read well but everyone's opinion and expectations are...
Thank you
Thank you Hib! With any luck I can find someone who knows how to check it and not just throw parts at it. I did get ahold of one guy locally who is really good with these cars. All three lights flash up and go off after a second or two, Its the abs, the asr and the brake. I was told...
