    Well I hate to report this, but my 73 is sold. It now has a new home in Louisville, Kentucky. I guess I'll have to drive my wife and my 6 month old son around in a minivan now....Anyhow....someday I'll have another one!!!!! :upthumbs

    Rob....did you have the trans rebuilt?....ok yes you did....I read your first post.....who rebuilt it? Obviously mine was the problem...If you have a longer stud and you have adjusted the z bar under the master cylinder it could be a trans problem...If I shove mine into reverse immediatley after...

    Weak Brakes

    Corvette brakes are a pain in the arse to bleed...Mine took several trips around the car....did you do them in the right sequence? RR,LR,RF,LF...outer screw frist on RR then inner.....etc etc...??? Use a power bleeder is available.....it will help speed up the process... AND WELCOME TO CAC!!!!!!!

    Steering Adjustment

    On top of your steering box is a nut with a screw head in the center. Loosen the nut slightly and tighten the screw head a half turn or so...not too much each time....this will bring the knuckle gears in the box closer together and eliminate the play you are feeling.

    Good call Curtis!!!! I forgot about that one....I had to use thicker gaskets on my covers cause the rockers (1:6 Rollers) were tapping the cover.....

    Did you check for coil bind when you installed the springs? What springs? cam? lift? lift with 1:6 rockers?

    Stock heads are decent if ported and decked (that lowers the chamber size) but a nice aftermarket head will work great when you match cam, intake, carb, and heads.....mine are Darts with 64cc chambers 180 cc runners and we are around 10.32:1 compression.. Higher compression equals higher...
