Hi Wamp, I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what but I couldn't find anything from searching for SYS in the 84-96 forums or in the knowledgebase. But I finally found what I needed by looking through your posts. Thanks for the help guys.

Does anybody know who to keep the SYS Light from flashing when I disconnect the stereo in my 96 vette. I want to put in a whole new system(head unit, amp, and speakers) and this is the only thing stopping me. Thanks
