Mattel Joins with GM ... Hot Wheels Corvette

They make them, but not a whole lot yet. Think of all the available C5 diecast out there, some as ragtops, some coupes, some hardtops, some with opening trunks, some better than others... it's great! Now we're stuck with what Mattel THINKS we want (as usual) and it'll really suck. Been there...

Mattel Joins with GM ... Hot Wheels Corvette

Their cars are fine, but when no one else able to produce a range of cars, we're stuck with whatever level of quality Mattel thinks we need.

Mattel Joins with GM ... Hot Wheels Corvette

Crap. This is NOT good news, if it means we won't see Corvettes from any other diecast company. Mattel screwed up getting decent Cadillac diecast, Ferrari's and now the Corvette? Bastards.

I'd LOVE to have that car, but we have three already. Winter's coming. Got no room to store it. The wife says no. ;help

    C6 info.

Love the orange, though I'd have to see it first to be sure. Personally, I'm tired of seeing all the black, red, silver and white Vettes. Change is good. (And I have a black Vette!)

I bet it didn't look that good from the factory. :m

    Outlaw's Project '84

What I meant was YOUR '84 had the potential to be the most awesome C4 ever built. Not the '84 in itself.

    Outlaw's Project '84

I guess I'm the only one who thinks that looks very, very cheasy. I'm sure whatever you do it will be awesome, but why make what is potentially the most awesome C4 ever built into a poor copy of a C5? In my opinion it's like taking the chrome off a '68 to '72 and putting on '74 front and rear...

Would it help to BEG you not to do that?

    Outlaw's Project '84

Wow (I think word that about covers it). I am in awe at the work you've done. I wish you'd reconsider the '00 body kit on this car. I hate seeing C4's converted to C5's. I think a car this special needs some completely custom bodywork. This car should say "Outlaw" all the way. I'm on...

Yes, actually... paint codes and production runs of each color. Interior color production runs, production runs of options, etc.
